HMD Global launches the Nokia T10, the latest addition to its tablet range

HMD Global, the company behind Nokia phones, has announced the launch of its second tablet, the Nokia T10, to add to its popular range of tablets. The Nokia T10 is designed to last longer, with a combination of durability, security updates, and guaranteed Android software upgrades, including Android 12 right out of the box.

The Nokia T10 is engineered for longevity, making it an ideal choice for families, whether at home or on the move. The tablet features a compact design and is small enough for travel, yet big enough for daily entertainment. It has an 8-inch HD display with stereo speakers that offer clear sound and a detailed picture wherever you use it. The tablet also comes with a second screen feature that can be used as an extension of your PC display, enabling you to maximise productivity when needed.

One of the highlights of the Nokia T10 is Google Entertainment Space, a one-stop destination for content where subscription services are consolidated. This means you don’t have to switch between apps to find something to stream, read or play, making it an excellent device for media consumption.

The tablet also features Google Kids Space, which provides access to a library of content that is perfect for children, including apps, games, books, and videos that they can use to explore, learn, and discover. Google Kids Space is compatible with the Family Link app from Google, allowing parents to manage their children’s content, set screen time limits, and more, all from their own device.

The Nokia T10 is also built to last, and its solid, durable unibody polymer design, made with a nano-textured finish, helps hide the appearance of scratches, making it look new for longer. It is designed to be regifted without a “second-hand” feel, making it an affordable device that can be passed down to younger family members.

In terms of security, the Nokia T10 comes with face unlock, which adds a layer of personalised security, making personal data accessible with just a glance. It also features a Mask Mode that allows users to unlock the tablet while wearing a face covering. The tablet is secure for longer with three versions of Android and three years of monthly security updates.

The Nokia T10 is available in two versions, Wi-Fi and LTE & Wi-Fi, with prices starting at R2,999 and R3,199 respectively. Both versions come with 3/32 memory and storage configurations.
