Energizer is back with another phone, this time it’s a low-cost, rugged handset named the Energy 100.

Described as a “strong and compact feature phone with a high-performance battery”, the Energy 100 is a dual-SIM phone with an IP54 rating, VGA camera and 1500mAh battery which the company says provides up to 11 hours usage and can last up to 12.5 days on standby.

Aimed at those working in the manufacturing, mining, construction or labour intensive environments, the Energy 100 can survive drops up to 0.8m and has expandable storage.

The Energy 100 is available through Takealot for R699 and Cellucity for R799.
