EcoFlow debuts OASIS at CES 2025

EcoFlow just made managing your home’s energy a whole lot easier. At CES 2025, the company showed off OASIS, a smart energy system that uses AI to optimise how you power your home. From slashing electricity bills to prepping for storms, it’s designed to take the hassle out of keeping the lights on.

OASIS works by pulling data from your home’s energy usage, electricity prices, solar power production, and even weather forecasts. It then uses that information to make smart decisions — like charging your backup batteries before bad weather hits or running appliances on stored solar energy when grid rates are high.

It also comes with a voice assistant, so you can ask questions like, “How can I cut down on power costs this month?” or “Am I ready for a blackout?” The assistant doesn’t just answer, it can actually make those changes for you, so you don’t have to.

“We’re helping people take control of their energy in ways that are simple and effective,” says Peter Linghu, EcoFlow’s Director of Product Strategy.

OASIS is compatible with EcoFlow’s portable power stations, like the DELTA Pro Ultra, and works with third-party devices that support Shelly and Matter. That flexibility is a big deal in a market where products often don’t play well with others.

EcoFlow also teased a new solar battery system called OCEAN Pro, set to launch later this year. It’ll integrate with OASIS to boost energy storage for U.S. homes, but it’s not clear when (or if) it’ll reach South African households.

For anyone dealing with rising electricity prices or unpredictable outages, OASIS could be a game-changer. It’s not just about keeping the lights on — it’s about doing it smarter.
