1. The promoter is Reframed Group operating as Tech Reframed located in Cape Town, South Africa in association with Huawei Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Huawei”)
2. The competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years or over, except employees of Tech Reframed, Huawei, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
3. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
4. To enter the competition, entrants must be following @techreframed and @huaweiza on Instagram and use the hashtags #HUAWEIxReframed and #MateBookD16. Entrants must also name one feature of the 2024 Huawei MateBook D16 i5 in the competition announcement post on Instagram.
5. The competition is open for entries from 12 pm February 22 2024 until 11:59pm February 29th 2024. Entries received outside this time period will not be eligible.
6. The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date and will win a HUAWEI MateBook D 16 i5. The winner will be notified by Instagram direct message within 14 days of the closing date.
7. The prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control makes it necessary to do so.
8. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. By entering the competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
10. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material and their entry may be used by Tech Reframed and Huawei. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 11. All Participants indemnify Huawei its associated and subsidiary companies, and its directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way whatsoever in this Competition.
12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
13. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
14. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
15. The winner agrees to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
