Updated to reflect correct value of Takealot vouchers as R1000 each not R250 each as previously stated.
During this period while South Africans are staying home, many people are giving a lot of thought to what they’re going to do post lockdown. Some dream of going on holiday later in the year when travel resumes. Others are already planning a road trip to see granny at the coast, while most people can’t wait to place their first online order for something other than an essential item.
With this in mind, Huawei is running a Wishlist competition until 30 April, where it will be granting the post-lockdown wishes of hundreds of lucky Huawei users on its HUAWEI AppGallery. All you have to do is click on the following apps and complete the form that pops up, including writing your wish, and you could win:
- Takealot vouchers valued at R1000 (One thousand rand) each
- Mango vouchers valued at R2 000 (Two thousand rand) each
- Travelstart Packages for accommodation and flights
- Makro vouchers valued at R1000 (One thousand rand) each
“Huawei wants to support local businesses, as well as reward our users for staying home to help save our nation,” says Likun Zhao, Vice President of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East & Africa (Southern Africa). “We think our Wishlist campaign is a great way to help boost the spirits of South Africans, during a time when we are feeling uncertain and worried, and give them something to look forward to.”
