inDrive Soars as the Most Downloaded Ride-Hailing App in 11 Regions with 88% YoY Revenue Growth

Global mobility and urban services platform inDrive is the world’s fastest-growing ride-hailing app of 2022, according to data.ai (formerly App Annie). The app saw a 45% increase in downloads YoY, reaching 61.8 million, making it the second-most downloaded ride-hailing app worldwide based on Google Play and App Store data. In addition, inDrive was the most downloaded ride-hailing app in 11 regions across the world, including Morocco, Peru, and Nepal.

Arsen Tomsky, inDrive’s founder and CEO, attributes the app’s success to its approach to expanding into new markets and maintaining growth in existing ones. Tomsky said that inDrive’s goal is to provide greater control over pricing and flexibility to all users, from passengers to handymen.

In 2022, inDrive’s gross revenue increased by 88% YoY, reaching 47 countries and expanding its team to 2,700 employees across 17 offices worldwide. The company also launched new verticals, such as job classifieds, to expand its offerings beyond passenger and cargo transportation, delivery, and handyman services. InDrive recently rebranded from inDriver (Independent Drivers) to inDrive (Inner Drive) to reflect its mission to challenge injustice.

As the world continues to face challenges in the mobility sector, inDrive remains committed to its goal of making services accessible and affordable to all, and plans to build on its recent success in 2023 by reaching even more people around the world.
