Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest offering for gaming enthusiasts: the Odyssey Universe, a new customised map created for Fortnite. The map has been inspired by Samsung’s premium Odyssey series of monitors and aims to provide gamers with a new and exciting experience, while showcasing the capabilities of Samsung’s Odyssey monitor line-up.
The Odyssey Universe will be a permanent new map divided into five spaces, each of which is inspired by a product name of the Odyssey monitor series. From the Level Ark to Level G9∙G8∙G7∙G6, each space will have its own mission for players to clear, with a variety of objectives and rewards during gameplay. The new map will be launched on 23 March, along with live Twitch streams and rewards in a scavenger hunt event.

To kick off the release of Odyssey Universe, Samsung has enlisted some of the biggest names in streaming, including SypherPK and NickEh30, to demonstrate the map’s exciting gameplay on the official Samsung Odyssey Twitch channel. Viewers will also be informed of how they can explore the map themselves, and how they can get exclusive deals on Odyssey monitors.
In addition to the live streaming event, Samsung is hosting a ‘Scavenger Hunt’ event that will run until 29 March. Players will be encouraged to explore the Odyssey Universe map and find hidden answers in each of the spaces. Once gamers figure out the answers, they can submit them at the Odyssey Universe event website to be eligible to enter into a sweepstakes. The winners of the sweepstakes will receive Odyssey gaming monitors and will be announced on the Samsung Odyssey Twitch channel on 30 March at 7PM (EST).
