Sony has announced the release of two new wireless headphones, the WH-CH720N and the WH-CH520, both packed with the company’s acclaimed audio technology. The WH-CH720N over-ear headphones are equipped with Dual Noise Sensor technology and Sony’s Integrated Processor V1 chip to deliver advanced noise cancellation, enabling music lovers to enjoy their favourite tunes without being interrupted by background noise. The headphones also feature a lightweight design and up to 35 hours of battery life, making them perfect for long trips or extended listening sessions.
For those who prefer on-ear headphones, the WH-CH520 provides up to 50 hours of battery life, making it an ideal option for all-day use. It also features enhanced call performance and is available in four different colors, allowing users to select the perfect match for their style.
Both headphone models incorporate Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology, which restores the high-frequency elements lost during music compression, resulting in a high-quality sound that is faithful to the original recording. The Sony| Headphones Connect app also enables users to adjust the ambient sound across 20 different levels to suit their environment.
The WH-CH720N headphones are ergonomically designed to provide exceptional wearability, with comfortable synthetic leather and urethane materials and an optimised ear pad structure. They are also Sony’s lightest overhead wireless headphones with noise cancellation, making them perfect for extended listening sessions. Meanwhile, the WH-CH520 headphones feature an adjustable headband, padding, soft earpads, and a lightweight design, providing users with a comfortable fit that can be worn for longer periods.
The WH-CH720N headphones feature beamforming microphones with Precise Voice Pickup technology, which accurately and clearly picks up users’ voices in a range of environments, making it easier to make and receive calls. The WH-CH520 headphones also have built-in high-quality microphones and noise suppression processing, making them perfect for making clear calls in noisy environments.
Both headphone models feature Multipoint connection for easy connectivity between devices, easy button operation, and can be controlled with voice commands. In addition, Sony has designed the headphones with sustainability in mind, using recycled plastic materials and packaging that is free from plastic.
The WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 headphones will be available in the Middle East & Africa from March 2023.
