Sony has unveiled its newest truly wireless earbuds – the WF-C700N, designed to provide users with top-notch comfort, stability, and immersive sound quality, all while enjoying noise cancelling features. Sony’s latest earbuds have been specifically designed to ensure users’ comfort and stability while using them, regardless of ear size. The WF-C700N earbuds are the result of Sony’s extensive ear shape data collated since 1982, as well as an evaluation of the sensitivity of various types of ears. The earbuds feature a shape that perfectly matches the human ear, coupled with an ergonomic surface design for a more stable fit, so users can listen for longer periods without needing a break.
The earbuds come in a cylindrical charging case that is small and easy to carry around in your pocket or bag. Its geometrically patterned texture gives it a stylish, luxurious look and feel. Sony has also ensured users have a choice of colours to choose from – black, white, lavender, and sage green – to suit their style and comfort.
The WF-C700N allows users to cancel out background noise with noise cancelling or use the Ambient Sound Mode to stay connected to their surroundings. In Ambient Sound mode, the feedforward mics capture more of the ambient sound around the user, giving them a natural listening experience while staying connected to their environment. Users can personalise the settings within the Sony | Headphones Connect app or use the Focus on Voice setting to chat without removing their earbuds.
The WF-C700N also features Adaptive Sound Control, which adjusts ambient sound settings depending on the user’s location and activity. It recognises locations that users frequently visit, such as their workplace, gym, or favorite cafe, and switches the sound modes that suit the situation.
The earbuds deliver high-quality sound thanks to the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) and Sony’s original 5mm driver unit, which produces powerful bass and stunningly clear vocals despite their small size, bringing out the best in any genre or entertainment.
With a long-lasting battery life of up to 15 hours, IPX4 water resistance, and smart features, the WF-C700N truly wireless earbuds are perfect for everyday use. Additionally, Sony is releasing a new Midnight Blue colour for their award-winning WH-1000XM5 wireless headphones. The company has also designed the WF-C700N and WH-1000XM5 Midnight Blue with sustainability in mind, with zero plastic included in the packaging material for both models, reflecting Sony’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of their products and practices.
The WF-C700N in black, white, lavender, and sage green will be available from May 15th, 2023, while the WH-1000XM5 in Midnight Blue will be available from April 24th, 2023, in the Middle East and Africa.
