If you’re a Telkom Mobile subscriber and you’ve been having trouble making or receiving phone calls and connecting to a data connection, it’s not your phone, it’s the network.
According to a tweet posted by the company earlier today, it was experiencing what it called “disruptions” to its mobile and data network.
A later response to a customer tweet attributed the network inconsistencies to load-shedding and lack of sufficient power supply to keep the network towers operational.
Naturally, Telkom users took to Twitter to express their frustration at the lack of signal:
For now, Telkom Mobile’s network appears to be recovering with intermittent issues still being reported.
