Air France Unveils New Long-Haul Business Cabin

Air France has announced the unveiling of its new long-haul Business cabin, on flights between Paris and Johannesburg, which aims to redefine French-style travel with more comfort and style. The new cabin features 48 spacious seats based on the three “F”s: Full Flat, Full Access, and Full Privacy, ensuring passengers enjoy optimal privacy, direct aisle access, and a real bed that is almost two meters long. A new sliding door adds to the sense of privacy, and the seats located in the middle of the cabin have been redesigned to create a more intimate space for passengers traveling together. The cabin’s front seats provide extra space for added comfort.

Air France has chosen soft, natural materials such as wool, brushed aluminium, and full-grain French leather for the cabin’s design. The seats also have a backlit winged seahorse and each seat is embroidered with the airline’s brand symbol in red. A soft microfiber pillow and a soft blanket are provided to each passenger, and there are USB ports, an induction charger, and a laptop socket to help stay connected.

The new cabin features a large 17.3-inch 4K high-definition anti-glare screen with noise-reducing headphones, Bluetooth connection, and an easy-to-use graphic interface available in 12 languages. More than 350 films, including a large selection of French movies, TV series, documentaries, music, and podcasts, are available to choose from. A specific section on well-being allows young and old alike to learn about meditation and seated yoga during the flight, and kids have their own entertainment section.

Air France is committed to more responsible travel and has provided a new comfort kit made of 96% recycled materials for the first time. The kit contains a toothbrush and a pen made from maize straw, earplugs wrapped in kraft paper, a large sleep mask, socks, toothpaste, and Clarins cosmetics. The airline has also removed plastic packaging in favour of an integrity seal.

On long-haul flights departing from Paris, Air France has enlisted Michelin-starred French chefs such as Regis Marcon, Anne-Sophie Pic, and Michel Roth to create refined dishes with red or white meat, fish, and vegetarian options. The wine and champagne list is selected by renowned sommelier Paolo Basso. On all flights departing from Paris, Air France is committed to offering 100% French red and white meat, milk products, and eggs in all its cabins, as well as fish from sustainable sources. Vegetarian options are also available.

Air France’s new Business cabin offers an exceptional travel experience, combining comfort, elegance, and style with excellent cuisine and attentive service.
