Huawei Unveils New Tablet, Laptop and Smartwatch Hardware

Huawei has recently unveiled the P60 Pro and Mate X3 for the MEA market.

To complement these flagship devices the company also unveiled a slew of new hardware consisting of the FreeBuds 5, WATCH Ultimate, MateBook X Pro, MateBook D 14, and MatePad 11-inch 2023.

Huawei’s new FreeBuds 5 has an unusual design that some might call futuristic. I think it looks like a mushroom.

While the design may not personally appeal to me, that doesn’t make it a bad product. with a futuristic water drop-shaped design that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The brand says that thanks to its seamless curves, the earbuds will fit snugly into your ears, providing optimal comfort during extended use. It’s powered by the Ultra Magnetic Dynamic Driver that provides punchy bass, and has a triple adaptive EQ that ensures a consistent acoustic performance.

The buds also support SuperCharge, providing two hours of music playback after only 5 minutes charging. There’s also open-fit ANC and AI call noise cancellation features and dual device connectivity.

Taking on the Apple Watch Ultra is the all-new Huawei WATCH Ultimate, a high-end smartwatch that boasts a Zirconium-based Liquid metal body. The glass cover is made of durable, wear-resistant high-strength sapphire glass, ensuring that it can withstand everyday use. With 100-meter water resistance, audio capabilities, and two weeks of battery life, this watch works with both Android and iOS and is available in either Voyage Blue or Expedition Black.

Huawei’s 2023 MateBook X Pro was also unveiled, sporting a “skin-soothing metallic body” made from magnesium alloy, weighing only 1.26 kg.

It’s powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and has a 14.2-inch 3.1K HUAWEI Real Colour FullView Display and 60Wh battery.

Huawei also announced the 2023 MateBook D 14 which sports a 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, a 180-degree hinge, and a 14-inch Eye Comfort HUAWEI FullView Display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio.

On the tablet front, Huawei unveiled the MatePad 11-inch 2023. The tablet comes with a 120 Hz HUAWEI FullView Eye-Protect Display that is TÜV Rheinland certified for Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies and supports the second generation HUAWEI M-Pencilas well as the HUAWEI Smart Keyboard.
