Winfuture journalist Roland Quandt has just posted official-looking images of the Note 10 Lite, confirming the much-rumoured device.
In a recent tweet, Quandt says that the handset will be available in red, black and the popular silvery aura glow colourway first introduced on the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Unlike its larger siblings, the Note 10 Lite has a flat display instead of the dual-curved one made popular by Samsung.
Not much is known about the handset but rumours indicate that it will be packed with 2018’s Exynos 9810, 6GB RAM, a 6.7-inch FHD display with a centred hole punch, 128GB internal storage, and a 4500mAh battery. The lower cost device also comes with a Bluetooth 5.1 enabled S-Pen and could include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The handset, along with the rumoured S10 Lite, is expected to be announced by Samsung before the end of 2019 and could be rebranded as the A81 (Note 10 Lite) and A91 (S10 Lite) in select regions.
One thing is certain, the new rectangular camera hump is here to stay and is most likely a foreshadowing of 2020’s Galaxy S11 series.
