Discovery Vitality has expanded its Vitality Travel platform by partnering with United Airlines, offering clients up to 75% off flights to the USA. This collaboration provides Discovery Bank clients with direct, discounted flights to several American cities, including popular destinations like New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.

The United States remains a top travel choice for South African tourists, and Govender highlights the appeal of new direct routes, including daily flights from Johannesburg to New York.
Discovery clients can access these discounts via Discovery Bank accounts, which include a secure, no-fee Discovery Account. These United Airlines routes bolster an already extensive network of airline options on Vitality Travel, with established partners like British Airways, Emirates, and SAA, covering destinations across North America, Europe, and Africa.
Since the launch of Vitality Travel in 2022, Discovery Bank clients have collectively saved over R1.6 billion on more than 2.4 million flights, Govender shared. The platform also provides exclusive perks such as access to Priority Fast Track at airports, Europcar Ready2GO express checkout, and complimentary refreshments at Discovery’s Lounge.
In addition to flight savings, Discovery Bank is currently running a competition where clients can win two return tickets to New York and 100,000 Discovery Miles for further travel or accommodation. Clients can earn bonus entries by booking flights or joining United’s MileagePlus program.
