Apple has announced the HomeView, a 7-inch smart home hub with Siri AI, HomeKit controls, FaceTime and Apple Music. It’s designed to sit quietly in a kitchen or hallway rather than replace an iPad, but its small screen, limited app support and $299 price could make the $149 HomePod mini 2 the smarter buy if you don’t need a display.
